The limited appeal post

For those librarians out there, our registrar turned me on to this novel way of presenting the book online. In this case, an auction catalog. I'll be forwarding this on to the listservs later.

Just for fun!

Hi. Great pics. I'm getting a new computer at xmas so I can watch you tube. also. Uncle Joe is going to DC this weekend to help Aunt Ruth get into an assited living place and get Ralph into a nursing home. I have no more details until Joe gets back, probably on Sunday. Go Longhorns.

Fancy Fancy! I have seen this approach before on a few commercial sites. They're nice, esp when I can't get my hands on a "real" catalog. On the other hand, there's nothing like a real catalog, or poring over its pages with a hot tea or coffee...

Little off topic, but when you guys get sick of the snake-fighting dogs, you can look into one of these:

Not too bad of a wait list, and at only $4k, who could turn them down!?

[... why does something about this seem rather cruel to me ...]

Gerry, Thanks but I'll only take in a cat that can use the toilet! This is a litterbox-free zone.

Hypo-allergenic cats? You've got to be kidding!

The whole reason I have cats (besides the "cuddle" factor) is to keep my parents from ever spending the night at my house.
